On 7 June 2019, in the midst of Raya holidays, we went to a private prayer retreat at Bethel House of Prayer, Penang Hill. We spent some time enjoying a steamboat dinner after 10 minutes walk from the cable car Viaduct station.

During the retreat, we spent 4 hours in silence and solitude with God. Slowing down the pace of life is an expensive and precious experience for me.

In this season of my spiritual walk, God reminded me that in the season of comfort, I ought to grow to be more like Him, because growth does not come only in times of suffering.

Wisdom is like honey, have you spent enough time to grab some honey from Him? ;)
